About the Pave Fund

In 2021, Pillar Support Coordination launched the Pave Fund – a community fundraising initiative to bridge the gap in NDIS funding for people with disability and their family.

As Support Coordinators, we hear the stories and experience first-hand the struggle that many people with disability have in accessing the services they need. Some people are not able to access the NDIS for various reasons. For others, their circumstances mean that their NDIS plan is inadequate to meet their immediate or changing needs.

There’s also a cohort of people who have disengaged from the system due to previous negative experiences. This hard-to-reach group are less likely to reengage with formal services, so Pave Funded services can help build trust and confidence to reengage with broader services.

The Pave Fund is all about bridging the funding gap to prevent people getting left behind.

Who we help

Recipients of the Pave Fund must be:

  1. West Australians with disability, as well as their immediate support network
  2. Able to demonstrate an unmet need that can be addressed through Pave Funding.

How it works

Pillar Support Coordination supports hundreds of people each year to access the NDIS services that best meet their needs. Through this work, we identify dozens of examples where additional funding (or any funding) would make a dramatic positive impact on families.
